Church News

We have been encouraged recently with the good attendance and new attendees at our church. We started having a morning service a few weeks ago and since then it seems like we actually have a church group! For a small church on an Indian reservation 19 people seems like a lot. Especially since not that long ago, sometimes there were only 2 people besides us.

When we moved here, we had been told that a morning service probably wasn't the best time. We found that to be true for the kids-sometimes they are still in bed at 1 p.m. when Jordan goes to pick them up for S.S. Anyhow, it felt really weird to us and we tried it once on Easter Sunday. It split up our group and there were only 3 people there for the morning service. About a month ago, some things came up and we talked to some people and they said they would come for a morning service. We still have the Kid's S.S. at 1 and evening worship at 7. We have had good attendance in each service. There are about 6 new ones that have been coming in the last few weeks and keep coming back! Some of the people even come for both Sunday services. We thank the Lord for his help.

We did get the entryway project completed and it looks wonderful! (compared to before)

Please pray for Kristen, a teen who used to come faithfully with her parents and has moved out of the home.

Also Kayla Uses Arrow needs prayer. She is 19, has a 1 year old, 6 month old twins, I'm pretty sure she is pregnant again and her boyfriend just left her.

We will be leaving tomorrow for the Indian Worker's Convention at Northwest Indian Bible School in Montana. We are excited for some time away. Then the day after we get back, the Marshalls (our Missions Director) will be arriving. So, I won't be blogging for a while.
